Managing Fuel

Managing Fuel

  1. When fuel cock is ‘OFF’, fuel supply will remain suspended. Keep the fuel cock at this position when the motorcycle is not in use.
  2. When intending to drive, turn the fuel cock to ‘ON’. Fuel will now start flowing from the fuel tank into the carburetor.
  3. When fuel cock is turned to ‘RES’, fuel will flow into carburetor from the Reserve Supply. Use the reserved fuel only when the main supply runs out. On using Reserve Supply, get the fuel tank filled up as soon as possible.
  4. After having the fuel tank filled up, DO NOT run the motorcycle with the fuel cock at  ‘RES’ mark or you will have no fuel left in Reserve Supply when you run out next time.
